A Kissimmee, Florida woman was arrested for fatally stabbing her boyfriend.
Amanda Lopez, 26, told police she believed that Larry Lee Fryar, 57, put a curse on her so she stabbed him to death.
According to a police report, Lopez told detectives that she had thought about killing Fryar for a little over a year.
Lopez allegedly suspected that Fryar had “done something to her†and that the only way to free herself from the alleged curse was to kill him or kill herself.
Police found the victim in his apartment with multiple stab wounds. Fryar was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
They said Lopez stabbed Fryar close to ten times in the chest, and then walked over to a nearby pool and wiped off his blood.
Authorities said Lopez was picked up by police in Orlando while she attempted to board a bus headed to New York.
Lopez is being charged with first-degree murder and has since been transferred from Orange County to the Osceola County jail without bond on Tuesday.

Wow, this is happening on her wildest dreams, what a dangerous woman, so she believed she was cursed and killed the alleged author. Now she really is cursed.

That's right, if she wasn't cursed before, she is now, most likely life in prison seems curse enough for me.

Boy that vodoo will have you doing the do doo...lol. This woman is crazy and her telling police she has been thinking about killing him for over a year was very stupid because now the murder is premeditated. People never cease to amaze me.

Hmmm... Multiple stabs in the chest. That sounds like she attacked him in his sleep. He was a back sleeper and she attacked him in his sleep with his chest right there out in the open. And it's possible that the real reason she attacked him was because he wanted her to leave.

I'm certainly not buying her alibi of a belief in a curse.

That's not why she did it.

This should be added in the list of the weird reasons people kill. If she truly believed that she was cursed, she could have asked him to take back the curse when they shared happy moments. Alternatively, she could have looked for a religious person able to cancel the curse. She had been thinking about killing him for a while and the said curse had nothing to do with it.

Makes you wonder what made her feel he had placed a curse on her. Thanks to the police for catching her before she could escape to New York. Then there would be a killer roaming the country. Almost certainly this woman is mentally ill.
