I'm just looking into law enforcement, and I want to know if I would be disqualified for something very specific. I don't think I could join the military due to it, but maybe it's different in the police force?
I broke my ankle pretty severely - in three places. I had to have major surgery to correct it, and ended up with 8 pins in my ankle and somewhat altered abilities to stand/run/walk. I'm going to be removing at least 4 of them, if not all of them by the end of next month, but I was wondering if this would affect being hired?
