According to authorities, a male employee and a female co-worker got into a verbal argument.
The female called her boyfriend, Arturo Exum to tell him about it.
Exum, 31, came to the restaurant and allegedly shot Reid several times, police said.
“I went around the back of the Chili’s where we normally have our breaks back there and the guy was being put in the ambulance, sheets up to his neck. It was full of blood. It was really intense for that to happen. It was kind of scary two doors down,” said Alexander Escalada.
Police are still searching for the suspect. Reid was transported to the local hospital where he died. Witnesses said Exum ran out of the restaurant.
