We thank Police Service Dog Maverick for his service to others, especially to his partner Constable Johnny Sabatini. Maverick stood watch with his partner day and night going where ever duty called. Maverick was known for his keen senses for sniffing out crime and those engaging in it. He was a loyal partner and friend. It saddens us to now share with you that Maverick passed away as a result of sudden medical issues on Friday September 2, 2016. Maverick only had four more shifts left until his retirement. He will be missed by all of us. Rest well Maverick. Your tour is now complete.
