jury duty

Hello everyone, before I begin I want to say that I love this site. I was just wondering do Police Officers get called in for jury duty?

In my state we used to be exempt from this, but not any more. It's a waste of time that we go, when the defense lawyer finds out that there is an officer on the jury we always get excused. Why would a defense lawyer want us on the jury.

No exemption here. I been called in twice only to be sent home. Just a waste of time.
