I'm working on making myself a very attractive candidate. I'm a junior in college, getting a government major and also a psychology minor. I have a great academic record, no tickets and I don't have a criminal record. The one negative thing I have is that I smoked pot five times when I was a teenager. I haven't touched drugs or alcohol ever again. I have been on three ride-alongs and I participated in a volunteer program with my local police department during my senior year of high school. I was looking for some advice on what else I can do to help my chances to get into law enforcement after I graduate.
