Officials have released a new report showing the number of road rage incidents involving guns is on the rise.
The report shows there was over 1,300 gun-related road rage incidents countrywide within January 2014 and December 2016.
The state of Florida had one hundred and forty six incidents, the highest number in the country.
"This is a cultural problem that we have, and it’s accelerated by the use of drugs in our culture. A gun is an inanimate object, it accelerates nothing," Florida State Senator said. "It’s only a weapon when someone decides to use it as a weapon."
A recent survey stated close to eighty percent of drivers have confessed to at least one occasion of aggressive driving within a year.
