NYPD Special Operations cops rescued a pregnant woman who was in labor on a ship in the Atlantic Ocean Wednesday afternoon. The officers received a call for assistance for a woman in labor on a charter fishing boat that was approximately two miles south of Riis Park in the Atlantic Ocean. The NYPD Aviation Unit immediately deployed two helicopters and were above the boat in 10 minutes. An Emergency Service Unit tactical medic was lowered from one of the helicopters and rendered medical aid to the woman.
