Woman Charged With Murder, Allegedly Made Boyfriend Drink Bleach

A woman in Chicago has been charged with first-degree murder after she allegedly made her boyfriend drink bleach, which eventually killed him.

Authorities say Yasmine Elder and the victim Darrius Ellis had been fighting while they were sitting in their van.

Police believe Elder overpowered Ellis and then forced the victim to swallow the corrosive disinfectant.

Ellis, 26, was discovered lying on the pavement by police. He was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
