Woman killed, officer wounded in Bourne shooting

I've got little to say on this news story. Shooter is a member of the U.S coast guard. His motive might have been revenge but that as at the moment is still mere speculation.

One woman was killed, a second woman was wounded and a Bourne police officer was shot and wounded - and the man who allegedly committed what police described as an ambush attack was apprehended by Bourne police early Thursday morning, officials said.

A law enforcement official briefed on the investigation said police currently believe that the man traveled from Virginia to the Cape Cod town to attack the women, both of whom are associated with the Coast Guard because of a prior disagreement with at least one of the women, according to a law enforcement official briefed on the investigation.
