When a citizen is in a position of interacting with a LEO, do you prefer that they speak to you informally, like they would to anyone else, or do you expect a certain amount of respect and subservience, as if they were talking to, say their boss or some other authority figure?

I'd have to say I have a big problem with this, if they are hiring illegals. Now, a legal immigrant has every right to be a police officer, as long as they have attained citizenship, and can pass the same level of stringency in a background check like anyone else would have too.

I wouldn't doubt it. The energy levels in that area were off the charts crazy in those days after the attack. Could have been anything, could have been the spirit of an ancestor of one of the dead looking for her grandson or nephew or what have you, but I don't doubt it was there.

Number one, it's her job to teach her kid about stealing, not the cops. Number 2, this was in NYC. I can easily see how those particularly overstressed and hard-boiled cops would get angry at a woman who had called 911, wasting valuable resources that may have been needed else wheres...
