This isn't s clear cut as some might think. I hate how videos come out that show only part of the situation. I can't say if the officer was in the right here, but from what I've heard about this, he was actually there because the other man had been communicating threats to someone.

This sounds like the guy played too much Grand Theft Auto. It was like he had given up on life and wanted to go out in a blaze of glory or something. Barring that, he just wanted to be a major douche.

I am not even sure what to say about this. If the girl was a few years older, I'd say throw her in jail and let her rot for the rest of her life. At age 11, though, I am not sure what should be done. She definitely needs to be kept isolated from her family and being stuck in correction till 21...

This is completely ridiculous. $5? Attacking or killing someone for any amount of money is a serious issue, but if $5 was that big of a deal to him, maybe he should have just not gambled.

I thought motels had house keeping staff.. He shouldn't have thrown the knife at the police, but at the same time I would have been furious if I was him. Just how dirty was his room, this might have been nothing more than an excuse to get rid of his dog by the motel management.

They should both go away for a while, this is ridiculous. Bad enough that you don't stop when the sirens are going, but then try to drive off with the cop in tow? Then someone pretends to be an officer... bad business all around.

This is a depraved act. No one of good conscience, no matter how angry, would do this. He needs more than six months in prison, a lot more.

This sort of thing pisses me off. If he did do this, he needs to stay in prison for the rest of his life, if not get the death penalty. If he did not, the one who did do it needs to be found as quickly as possible.

Why in the world would anyone target firefighters? Seriously, that makes no sense. I've heard of paramedics getting robbed for whatever they have in their ambulances, but what do firefighters have to steal? Do people just hate public safety?

Based on this alone, he sounds like murdering garbage. I wonder if he needed psychological counseling and never received it? Either way, he certainly needed it if his idea of making things right was to murder an entire family, just to get his kids away from their mother.
