What would you like to be remembered for?

I want to be remembered for loving Jesus and loving people. For making a difference for God's kingdom by the way I lived my life. That's really all that matters to me at the end of the day. What activities I did or how I did or didn't excel by this world's standards are meaningless in the end.

Would you turn a loved one in?

I would. If I didn't and it became known that I was aware of it but hadn't said anything, I might also end up charged with a serious crime, and that would only cause more pain and suffering to the rest of the family.

    Gun training

I think 14 is probably old enough. It makes sense to me that gun training should not be for kids who are not even in HS yet. I don't see why boys would need to be hunting with their dads any younger than that really. By 14 kids will be old enough to really understand what they are doing and...

    Vigilante Justice In India

That is not right. He was already in jail, he was going to be prosecuted I assume. Vigilante justice is not good because often it is not justice at all. Without examining the evidence, they can easily have the wrong person or misunderstand what really happened and seriously harm or kill...

    Giving an account of oneself?

I don't think they would stop and ask for ID if you are just walking down the sidewalk, minding your own business, unless you happen to fit the description for someone they are looking for. If that's the case, and you are not the person, they will just check your ID, find that you are not who...

Police Say Couple Stole $9,000 Worth Of Underwear

What could you possibly want all that underwear for? Are they planning to sell it on the internet or something? Store employees are supposed to be trained to spot shoplifting. I guess they were not paying attention, at all. That is quite a lot of bulk to just walk out with.

    Stun grenade

I have never hear of a stun grenade. Could someone please explain this to me? It sounds like a potentially very dangerous and unpredictable weapon. While stunning someone is certainly far less likely to kill them than shooting them, how can there me much of any accuracy with a grenade?

Another Unarmed Man Murdered By Police

I don't get it. You would think that after all the demonstrations and protests and media attention Ferguson got, the cops would be more careful. It's like it's happening all over again, like nobody paid attention. This is seriously a problem. Why did the cop force his way into the apartment...

Are Cops Prepared To Deal With Terrorist Threats?

I don't think it is part of standard training at this point, except for maybe in cities that have some major targets. I don't think local cops have the training or proper equipment to deal with terrorist threats. I am not sure that is really appropriate for them to have either. I think that...

How often do police encounter people threatening them?

It probably depends on the neighborhood they are working in. I have not heard of that happening much at all in my area, in fact can't think of a single instance. I would think it would be much more common in areas where there are a lot of criminal activity.

    Stop charging child rape victims.

I think things may be changing these days. Several years ago I saw a TV show that addressed the issue of girls and young women who appear to be prostitutes, but are actually trafficking victims who either do not know how to get help, or are too afraid they will be hunted down and face a worse...

Man Calls 911 To Report Wife Stole His Cocaine

These kind of things ought to be used as evidence of how drugs affect the brain. Clearly, this man was not able to think through even the immediate consequences of his actions at that particular time. As much as that makes it easy for the police to get another drug arrest made, I hope that his...

Police say drug induced mom nearly drowns children

Considering? Um, these children need to be taken into a safe, clean environment and put on a detox diet immediately to get the drugs and toxins out of their system as soon as possible!! What are they thinking? This woman at least admits she has a problem, so that's a step in the right...

    Death Penalty, for or against?

For first degree murder, yes, I am for it because i feel that it is a proper punishment for the crime. For second degree I like not have the death penalty as a sentence option because the act wasn't planned.

Don't judge until you have done it?

Some issues aren't about judging what we don't understand. I try to read what experts in the field have to say and I feel that a lot If the problems come down to lack of food training or bad training methods, or perhaps insufficient review and practice. I know there are crooked cops, but that's...

Man Arrested For Fondling Amish Girls

My guess is he got through a window that was unlatched or he knows how to use something to unlatch common types of windows. It is likely he escaped because the girls were too frightened to yell. waking up to someone touching you could easily put one in a state of shock where you don't remeber to...

    Problems from legalizing marijuana

There is a big move to legalize marijuana, even though the drug alters the mind and can result in impaired judgement. It was obviously made illegal in the first place for a reason. What problems do you see with marijuana becoming legal? Personally I see a dramatic increase in people driving...

    Funeral Procession

There ought to be a fund for this. I don't really know where the money comes from, but it needs to be funded. This s is an honor that should not go by so he wayside just because of expense.

    Rainy Conditions

It ought to be common sense to slow down in bad weather if the road is slick or visibility is poor. If you are going faster than is safe, they may pull you over to give you a warning that you must heed the weather and slow down for everyone's safety. If everyone else on the road is going slower...

    Police Shows

I've seen a few episodes of cops, but I didn't care for it. It did give me a greater appreciation for what officers have to deal with, but as a TV show it was just not enjoyable to watch. I find law enforcement shows rather stressful and since I know that is not something I should be subjecting...
