    Would you be one?

If you saw corruption on the force and you were too honest to join in, would you be a whistleblower? I think this takes a lot of courage when it's easier to be part of the rank and file and get along with everyone. However, the alternative is obviously the ethical route. Which way would you go?

    Disagreements?

Do you ever have disagreements with you superiors, or do you just kind of let everything slide and not worry about the way things are done, even if you don't like it? What are the repercussions if you DO disagree?

    No-Go Zones?

Oh yeah there are those places! I don't want to name any, because in the US, if you say anything like that, you are branded a racist (even though a lot of them are diverse ). I have known cops who talked about problem areas like that.

    Do you understand?

Well the thing is, I've never been given a ticket, but I've been pulled over several times. I've only ever had warnings. I am always polite and cooperative, but I'm still a nervous wreck! I'm not like that in ANY other situation ,at work ,etc.

    Do you understand?

Do you guys understand that when you pull us over and we are not doing anything wrong, our palms still get sweaty and we drop things and act bats*** crazy, because we are just nervous in the presence of authority? We have a license, proof of insurance, etc., but we're still paranoid in the...

On the side of the road?

Yeah I see them sitting there reading stuff, but it is the deterrent factor that gets people. I think we ALL slow down if we see a cop car.

Student Suspended For Recording Video Of Teacher Bullying Student

I'm not a big fan of them either, but I agree in cases like this, it's great to have them. That's the problem with teachers who mistreat students. It's sometimes hard for a parent to believe this could actually happen at school. When presented with proof, what does the school do? Punish the...

Student Suspended For Recording Video Of Teacher Bullying Student

I too was bullied by teachers at a young age. It stays with you forever. This idiot teacher needs to be fired, and the student just needed to be told that you can't secretly record someone. I would get rid of the teacher for not using proper English as well! Why do we allow teachers in our...

    Lost his mind?

Yeah those are my thoughts as well, the kids. I think this guy was a ticking time bomb. I hate that his wife got killed, but I think it could easily have been one of the kids.

    Really? Really?

How about violating a court order? Last time I checked, that was a crime of some sort! This aunt is culpable, and if they wanted to charge her with something, they could. She would probably be found guilty!

    Teens Kills Mother, Stabs Grandmother

No homeschooling had nothing to do with it at all! Your logic about blaming things on public schools is very sound Josie. The problem was an evil mother who mistreated her kid. I hope this young man can get some help. I feel so sorry for kids who are abused!

How can I keep the peace? Why would I need to move?

I am so sorry for you. I have been through crap like this, and that's all it is...CRAP! There are trashy people everywhere who just want their 15 minutes of drama at anyone's expense. Unfortunately this judge sounds like an idiot, who can't reason his way out of a paper bag. I like Gabe's idea...

    Really? Really?

Exactly! The aunt is culpable because she at least knew that the mother had been ordered to stay away from the baby! If I had a loony niece and I was the court-appointed caretaker of her baby, I would NOT let her move in with me, unless the court had released her to be around her baby.

    Getting fed up?

Where I live, we have a lot of meth, and a large influx of illegals. The cops say that they see a lot of the same people over and over. With the illegals, the cops arrest them, and a judge lets them go. According to a policeman I know, the cycle repeats itself constantly.
