Lots of people out there are not even afraid to attack police officers, the simplest things like stopping cars for a violation turns very ugly. I know a traffic cop that was greeted with a gun to his face before he could ask for the driver's registration. It was in broad daylight too.
Jesus... Just a difference of a few feet. It was a good thing it didn't suddenly flip over or the passengers of that car wouldn't have gotten out of the accident unscathed.
I'm not sure about cities but definitely in small towns away from big cities. I've seen it in Japan, they are all so relaxed because every body knows each other. So when a new comer comes to town, every body will know about it.
My girlfriend's grandfather was a former police chief and he had lots of stories to tell that simply got me crying from laughter though I don't even know if its appropriate to post it here.
I honestly believe that a rule should be applied concerning the fitness of our police officers regardless of duty and designation. For as long as they are in the force, they have to be fit and healthy. Its a win - win thing really.
Why keep lumping good and bad tomatoes together? We can admit that there have been some issues concerning the police being a bit harsh on people, most people choose to notice just the bad side of cops and shrug off the good that they do. Its true, them being law enforcers was a choice - they...
Yes I do make sure I keep myself updated with high profile trials. I'd like to see how the law will handle really hard cases, how people will react to the progress, if the verdict is rational and how the public thinks about it.
Jesus Christ... its a good thing she wan't hit anywhere that would have been fatal. But regardless where the little girl was injured or what other people saw, I hope the law will be extra harder on criminals that injure children.
Some will always argue "there has to be a reason". I would usually say it too but I sure hope this guy suffers first before they sentence him to death.
Its a really good thing that at a very young age, she understood that she had to defend herself against anyone that cause her harm at the same time its just worrying how a kid like that needed to touch a gun because no one else was there to protect her when she really needed them to be. And if...
I have to believe that she was on drugs. If not then she was probably either suicidal or just someone who really - REALLY wants to go to jail and adding one more to the list offenses she's already had seemed like a good idea. But if she actually believed that she could outrun the authorities by...
I am definitely in favor of death penalty. People thinking of committing crimes needs to really fear getting caught hence making them rethink things a few dozen times over before actually doing anything stupid. Some are probably cozy in jail, they don't mind spending years inside since they are...
I am not well informed about these things but I did hear from a convention I attended during my High School years that confiscated is disposed of by burning. If they are burning it, won't the officers in charge of disposing them be affected by the smoke? I'm sorry but I really don't know these...
How bad an illness does one have to have before they are prescribed to use medicinal marijuana? I think I'd like to know the answer to this first before making any assumptions though another would be, if tested, will the results show their usage and if they could tell based on the test results...
The internet is filled with stories with so many negative remarks on police officers, I do hope that stories like this make them realize that there are so many out there, putting on their uniform everyday and would literally throw themselves into burning houses just to safe a life just like...
The aunt deserves to be charged too but the mother definitely deserves a heavier punishment. Children are never born bad, if she despised how her son grew up to be she has no one else to blame but herself.
