I would like to know if any of the cops in this forum know the history of the mounted police and what there purpose served back then was. Now, one can easily respond to this post and just say, "Google it," but I would like to know from a cops perspective about how they feel about mounted police...

Would someone with a felony withhold of adjudication disqualify a person from the law enforcement application process? If so, is it possible that after a few years they could be reconsidered? I know a guy who is well qualified by many standards, except his background.
