I was watching this on the news yesterday and they were saying that they discovered the equivalent of the planes black box. So let's wait and see what it shows, but definitely this needs to stop, too many accidents already.

So true, many times neighbors disagree on something and they call the police when in fact all that would be needed would be that the neighbors acted as adults and rationally reach an agreement. The police has better things to do in many of those cases.

There are evil people everywhere and we need to keep our eyes on our kids at all times because their are innocent and might fall into situations where they could be taken. I hope something like this never happens to me.

I really don't think that riots are justifiable or that they solve something. People can make express themselves peacefully and if they do it's more likely that their arguments are heard. Nothing like not resorting to violence in my opinion.

There are certain professional classes that I consider that are not paid enough when comparing to the responsibility they have and one of those are police officers. Do you agree with this or do you think they do receive enough?

I definitely think that the focus on education is wrong. What is taught our kids is history, maths, sciences and so on, but practical things that are needed on a day-to-day basis are neglected and the results are there to be seen. So yes, education could play an important role.

I think that these anonymous lines could work both ways. One, they can lead more people to call and report anonymously crimes, but at the same time how many people would call reporting things that are not true just because they can? So I am divided here.

What is the main motivation to become a police officer? Do you think it's a call to serve our country in the civil society, or is it just a job opportunity that presents? I feel that police officers do need to have a calling, at the same time training is equally important.

From what I can understand the physical requirements to be a police officer are sometimes superior to the written tests, so anyone that went through this process made a specific physical training or was just fit enough to pass the tests?

Yes, she was totally professional in that case RingoBerry, I don't know if I would have the capacity to do the same. I guess that with training comes responsibility and that is why she acted like that, the law is for everyone after all so nothing like starting with our own son.

Police officers and citizens coexist all their lives. Citizens (where I am included) see the police officers as the authority, responsible to maintain the law and order. What about the police officers, how do they see the citizens? What instructions do they receive when being trained?

Hello everyone, it's great that a community to discuss police businesses and our rights as a citizen as well. Sometimes it's not easy to be close to police officers and to understand some situations, so nothing like interacting directly with the police officers that can give me direct testimony.
