An 11-year-old Washington state boy was arrested after allegedly bringing 400 rounds of ammunition, knives and a handgun to school on Wednesday, authorities said.
Police put the school into lockdown on Wednesday for a couple of hours. No injuries were reported and it is not clear who the alleged targets were.
He has been charged with one count of attempted murder, police said.
Authorities did not release the name of the student at Frontier Middle School.
