Police say a baby was killed following a shooting in North Las Vegas on Saturday night.
"The one-month-old baby boy in the vehicle was struck by a bullet along with a 22-year-old man," said Officer Aaron Patty.
Authorities say the driver tried to get the shooting victims to the hospital but crashed before she could get there.
First responders rushed the victims to the hospital, where the baby succumbed to his injuries.
Police suspect the shooting was not a random act of violence. They believe the shooter and the victim knew each other.
The man is listed as stable. The female driver and two other kids were not hurt in the incident.
