Chief of Police Steven Eric DiSario was killed Friday, May 12, 2017 in a shooting at a nursing home in central Ohio.
Authorities say DiSario was fatally shot while responding to the shooting that left three others dead.
DiSario, 36, had been serving as chief of the Kirkersville Police Department for only three weeks.
Chief of Police Steven Eric DiSario was a father of six children, with a seventh on the way, Licking County Sheriff Randy Thorp said.
