Cops Arrested for Beating 3-Month-Old Into Vegetative State

A NYPD police officer who abused his 3 month old child has been arrested. The child's mother also a police officer though she didn't take part in the beatings was also arrested [for unlawful neglect of a child] because she knew about the abuse but never intervened.

According to police reports, in Mid-February, the man beat the child so viciously that he was unable to move or eat without a feeding tube.

Upon arriving at the hospital, the infant was foaming at the mouth, had bruising around his neck consistent with being held by the throat, and was suffering from a lack of oxygen. He sustained brain damage as well as retinal hemorrhaging, or bleeding from his eyes, that is so severe it could only have been caused by violent shaking or a fall from a building of at least 20 feet, according to the prosecutor.

Being a police officer doesn't mean you cannot lose your head and here's the proof, from protect and serve to criminals, but the worse is their kid.

This is sickening! Did he think that he could get away with it just because he was a police officer? Did he think it was okay to essentially murder an innocent infant?!

What a horrible story. I can't believe that the mother stood by and let all this happen. She's been released on bail but I'm willing to bet she wishes she was in jail for her own protection. It's highly likely that she was being beaten too but as a cop, she would have known where all the domestic abuse services were - she could have just got the hell out of there and she would have been helped.
