Do I still have a chance to be an officer?

I just turned 23 years old and I would like to be a police officer. I will be finishing college next semester, I don't do drugs. My problem is about six months ago my friends and I went to a friends party. As we got to the party my friend asked me to hold his stuff for him, and for some reason I did. Long story short, the police showed up and I got a citation for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. Do I still have a chance to be a police officer?

My agency wouldn't hire you. A police officer needs to make good decisions, and with those actions you proved you can't make them.
