Don't mess with Grandpa, either! I came across this earlier today. He fought off his assailant with his cane, but that could have been because the thief saw an able-bodied man heading over to intervene. I'm glad this elderly gentleman realizes that he may not be able to prevent an attack with just a cane in the future. I'm so glad Granny is okay. I think all crime is inexcusable but elder abuse just really hits a spot. Robbing a poor old lady because you think she's to old or naive to fight back is shameful. Go Granny for doing what you had to do!
