The family dog has died after shielding an 8-month-old baby girl from a house fire in Baltimore, Maryland. Firefighters said they found the hero dog, Polo, shielding the baby girl with his body. Authorities say the baby only suffered burns on her arm and side because of the Polo’s protection.
