Gymnastics coach accused of sex with minor

A Florida gymnastics coach was arrested after the mother allegedly caught the man in the 13-year-old girl's closet with whom he had sex, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said.
Justin Henry, 21, a gymnastics coach in Lakeland faces a charge of lewd and lascivious battery.
The discovery was made around 2 a.m. Wednesday at the Brandon home, near Tampa, Florida. The mom went to check on her daughter and soon realized the door was locked.
She made her daughter open the door and that is when she made the discovery. Henry stayed at the home and was arrested when deputies arrived, Carter said.
"The teen admitted to twice having sex with Henry at her house", said Debbie Carter, a sheriff’s office spokeswoman.

Apparently this isn't the first time Henry has been in trouble. Records show that he has charges from Polk County from April, where Henry interfered with a child custody case.
Documents stated that he picked up three 14-year-old girls and let them drink alcohol in his vehicle. He was later caught when police performed a traffic stop on the vehicle around 2 a.m. in Clearwater Beach.
The gym's manager, Andrew Muzzarelli said the company conducts a background check every two years. The prior incidents happened just months ago, so it did not appear in the review.
"This is a guy we trusted and took in, and for him to stab us in the back and do this to us, it hurts a lot," Muzzarelli said.
Henry was booked into the Hillsborough County Jail where he is being held on a bond of $7,500.

These are recurrent cases, but if these people don't have priors what can we do, prevention is almost impossible. It's a big responsibility to select people to work with teenagers.

This is wrong in every way you look at it. An adult is supposed to watch over a child. This man had no shame to the extent of going to the child’s home to have sex with her. An adult caught abusing a minor should not be allowed to be anywhere near children in any circumstance. His forty days are up; so sorry for the affected child and her loved ones.

Parents now days don't parent enough to know what's going on in their kids lives. Yes, this guy was wrong and should face the fire or maybe the firing squad. Living in this modern society causes us to be disconnected with real issues as we tend to hide behind our computer and smart phone screens all day.
