Has anyone in your family ever been police officer?

On my husband's side yes. Retired now and he was admired. If only they knew what he really was. A profession means nothing..

No. My grandfather was a soldier though. He is a World War II veteran.

One of my cousins was a cop for a little while. He found the work rather taxing and quit after 5 years. He's a high school teacher these days. I wonder if he ever encourages any of his students to pursue a career in law enforcement.
