hearing loss

I'm hoping to be a police officer. My main concern is about my hearing loss. If there is a hearing test I know I will fail. Do you know if there is any exceptions, will I be allowed to wear a hearing aid while I am on the job?

It might depend on the agency. I know in my department they won't disqualify a person so long as your hearing is correctable to a reasonable standard like wearing a hearing aid.
