ATLANTA (AP) — An Atlanta area teenager who said a heart transplant two years ago gave him a second chance at life died this week when he lost control of the car he was driving while fleeing police, according to police records.

Teen who got heart transplant dies in crash during chase

I always thought that being in a position to need a transplant, ANY transplant, would make someone appreciate life so much more. This is just a real shame. It's almost like it was all for nothing.

I'm not sure if he even deserved a second chance. There wasn't much good about that kid. Just check out his facebook page.

That kid should have respected life in a better way. Not everyone gets a second chance. He definitely deserve to leave a good life.

What a waste! A waste of a heart and a waste of a young life! Some people are just never going to learn anything, no matter how many chances you give them!

Funny things is after the transplant, the teen tells a reporter that he gets a second chance . . . to stay out of trouble. Once he's fine, he gets back to committing crimes. Good thing though is he got his second chance [everyone gets their second chance to fix anything once they've screwed up]. But he wasted it. Unfortunate.

So many waste their second chance an d most don't even recognize when it appears. It is not always as obvious as a heart transplant. He was given a chance to change the way he lived his life. This is done by changing your behavior which in turn means you need to change your thinking and where your thoughts are is considered your 'heart'. He had a chance to change his heart more than once.
