Officer Sean Johnson died yesterday in a motorcycle crash during an on duty training exercise. The tragic accident happened when Officer Johnson was riding on the ramp from Interstate 270 south to S.R. 161 east on Thursday afternoon, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
Johnson, 46, was part of a motorcycle unit and was a police officer in Hilliard for 16 years. He leaves behind his two children, aged 11 and 14, and his mother.
