New York. Police have charged Dunasha Payne, a 21 year old Hofstra student with fatally mowing down her boyfriend, 26 year old Kaman Drummond.
The victim ran for his life, hiding behind cars as the suspect Dunasha Payne allegedly drove in her 1994 Honda Accord and chased him down. Sources say Payne was in a jealous rage over another woman.
Neighbors called 911 when they heard the victim screaming for help. By the time Police arrived it was too late, they found the victim lying on the street. Drummond had been struck by the suspect vehicle and was killed on 208th Street and 109th Avenue in Queens Village.
A police source said there was no record of domestic incidents reports on the couple. Authorities have charged the suspect with second degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon, and is awaiting arraignment.
