I am going on a ride along at the end of the week. What types of questions do you like to hear when you are doing one? Should I be taking notes during the ride along? What should I wear?
Just ask questions that come up, just no personal questions. I wouldn't worry about taking notes, just sit back enjoy the ride and observe it all. Wear khaki pants and a dark shirt with a collar.
Don't ask the Officer questions like.
Have you ever shot anyone.
What's the saddest thing you've seen.
Can I hold your gun.
Where are the donuts
No personal-family questions.
