I am generally pro police and definitely not some ACLU whackjob, but I saw something on COPS last night that had me scratching my head. The cops had done a stop on someone for expired registration and found out the driver was on parole for sales. They got him out of the car and in the interview and searched his car without his permission. Is this legal in your area?
