Legal issue

My son is 5 years old. His father and I split up when he was 2. We went to court and a a judge finalized a parenting plan. When he was 3 his father stopped taking him for visitation. It's been over two years since he saw him. He just called and told me he wants to take him for a few hours alone next Sunday which I don't feel comfortable with. My son barely knows him because it has been so long since the last time that he has seen him. Legally it's his day but I talked to a lawyer and he said it was unreasonable of him to want to do that because of the long absence. I am currently getting the custody changed. If he does show up to to see his son, what should I do?

By refusing the father to see the child, you would be violating the court orders and that will lead to legal issues for you in the future.
