The Wichita Police Department announced a change in uniform color. The Department is changing from the tan uniform to a navy blue uniform.
The new uniforms will be a navy blue pant with a navy blue shirt. The officers will also have the option of wearing a black external vest carrier. The change will give officers more choices when it comes to comfort and fit.
