The San Francisco police officer who was shot in the head by a suspect during a chase is in critical, but stable condition.

The incident happened Friday night when Officer Kevin Downs and his partner were responding to a call about a man who was allegedly threatening customers.

The suspect fired multiple shots at the officers. Officer Downs was shot, the bullet entered and exited his head.

Interim Chief Toney Chaplan stated the gunshot wound Officer Downs suffered was nearly fatal, he added that if was one centimeter down it might have been lethal.

Officer Downs is recovering at San Francisco General Hospital.

The suspect has not been not identified yet, was shot and is in critical condition.

Wishing you a speedy recovery officer. This "war on police" has to stop now, I blame Obama for it. He clearly took the side of blm.
