A lone gunman has shot at least six people today in a suburb of Phoenix, AZ. There was at least one fatality. The gunman is yet to be apprehended and several locations in the vicinity are now on lockdown. SWAT teams and canine officers have been dispatched from neighboring cities in a bid to catch the offender, who remains, at this moment, at large. Hopefully he'll be located soon.

Some good news . . . the gunman has been arrested.

After an argument in a motel, a gunman went on a deadly rampage through a quiet neighborhood here early Wednesday, leaving one man dead and at least five others wounded before being captured, the authorities said.
Mr. Giroux, 41, was released from prison in October 2013 after serving six years for attempted aggravated assault, according to prison records.

He was a difficult inmate who was punished 11 times, for violations including possessing or manufacturing a weapon in 2008, the records show. His prison photograph reveals tattoos of white supremacist symbols, including the word “skinhead†across his brow, a cross on his chin and the number 88 next to his left eye. Before his most recent imprisonment, he was jailed for burglary, theft and marijuana violations.

There's something very wrong with the justice system. This is not the first time a violent criminal released from prison murders somebody. Why can't they just keep them locked up?

That is scary! no one knows where the individual is shooting from, that is going to be a hard one to catch, but I am confident that they will eventually catch up with the shooter, everything has a beggining and an end.

It's amazing how someone can have such a little regard for life that they would decide to just randomly destroy the lives of so many people. I don't understand the thought process that goes into hurting others in such a random act of violence. We need to make sure that we are loving every single human life on this planet by looking at life is something that is meaningless we put ourselves in a position to feel superior to others.
