BOSTON. President Barack Obama is in Boston to attend a memorial service for the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing.
President Obama will address the service. Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, Boston Mayor Tom Menino and Cardinal Sean O'Malley will also speak at the memorial service.
Hundreds of people gathered in front of the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston's South End, before the service.
"President Obama knows how important the city of Boston is to the nation and the world," "He is bringing his light to us for much needed healing." said 55-year-old John Snyder who was waiting outside in the crowd.
