Police are still working on identifying the shooters in an apparent ambush that wounded a probation officer and another man who were sitting on the front porch of a Wilkinsburg home.
"Upon their arrival, officers discovered two gunshot victims at 1543 Marlboro. Both victims were transported from the scene. At the time of transport, both victims were responsive to paramedics," Allegheny County Police Supt. Coleman McDonough said.
Both victims were transported to the hospital. According to police, neither victim have life-threatening injuries.
"The suspects who came down an alley directly across the street from the home and began firing at the victims," said county police Superintendent Coleman McDonough.
Witnesses told authorities the suspects are black males in their late teens or twenty's. At the time of the shootings they were wearing all black clothing.
Police ask if anyone with information to call police at 412-473-1300.
