Question regarding resume

A few years back I had an internship with a federal law enforcement agency. I wanted to know if I put this on my resume, would an agency look down on it? I wouldn't want the agency to think I would work at a PD and then maybe go back to my old place. I don't have any plans on doing that.

You should put it on your resume. When they interview you just make sure you tell them that you have every intention on staying with them and building a long career with them.
