Responding to Calls in Winter Weather

When the weather is snowy, icy or otherwise nasty winter weather, do you get more or less calls generally? How much does weather affect response time for you? I imagine bad weather might be viewed as an opportunity for some criminals, thinking they could get away before cops could get there, but it might also be a deterrent because it is so miserable outside.

I would say that they receive many calls during winter, because of all the problems that come with the snow, like car accidents, people falling in the snow, then at the same time I would say that the crime rate might go down just alittle since , the weather is nasty.

I hadn't even thought of police getting calls about people falling, I assumed the EMTs would take care of that. Definitely would be more traffic accidents though, that's a given.
