rough patches on becoming a police officer

I'm going through some rough times right now. I am currently in college, however I am having financial troubles. My goal is to be an officer so I just keep telling myself to stay positive and this will all work out in the long run. How did you guys make out, anybody else going through some rough patches right now?

If this is something want real bad, you need to do keep working hard until you get what you want. You need to find a way to make it happen.
