Senate leaders on Wednesday announced a deal to end the partial government shutdown and avoid a possible U.S. default.
“There are no winners here.†“The American people have paid a price for this. And nobody who’s sent here to Washington by the American people can call themselves a winner if the American people have paid a price for what’s happened.â€
Jay Carney, the press secretary said.

Really, so what was this all about to begin with? Republicans didn't get to shut down ACA like they were looking for and we ended up getting the pretty much the same thing that was passed by the Senate at the beginning of all of this. Great job.

Why even have a debt ceiling? They just keep kicking the can down the road. They will never cut spending and will never not continue to raise the debt ceiling.
