Sergeant Patrick Sondron was shot and killed Sunday, November 6, 2016.

Authorities say Sergeant Sondron was fatally shot after he and Deputy Sheriff Daryl Smallwood responded to a neighbor dispute.

Sergeant Patrick Sondron, 41, leaves behind his wife, and three children, and his parents.

Deputy Smallwood was also shot, he was taken to the local hospital where later succumb to his injuries.
