Three things I would bring with me.... water filter, fishing hooks, and duct tape (lots of duct tape). Why duct tape you ask? Did you ever see the Mythbuster's episode about being marooned and only having duct tape? You can do almost anything with that stuff, from making shelters to hand designed clothes...lol. Excellent stuff that duct tape is!
