U.S. Marshals are leading the search for escaped prisoner David Watson.
Watson, 28, was being transported around 9:30 a.m. to the local hospital by the Wicomico County Detention Center when he escaped custody and ran into a wooded area.
Watson is serving a 106-year sentence. He was convicted of attempted murder after shooting into an officer's house in 2012.
Authorities stated the reward for Watson's capture has been increased to $10,000.
