• An off-duty NYPD detective was killed Friday morning in a wrong-way crash on the Sprain Brook Parkway, sources said. CBS2's Andrea Gyrmes reports.

That's just awful. I bet that detective had imagined meeting his end while in the line of duty and not in an accident like that. I hope they find out why was that other vehicle going the wrong way.

This is terrible. Death is always hard to take but especially the tragic and senseless way this happened. I really hope the get to the bottom of this.

The driver that caused this tragedy should get life in prison. How do you not know that your in the wrong lane of direction. A very unfortunate thing here and my prayers are with them all.
