Any Officers wear gloves when handling suspects?

I do. For safety and health reasons. Many things can be transmitted by handling a suspect. I also keep hand sanitizer in the patrol car.

I agree with dchalke ^...it also protects from sharp objects, knives. Very important when we are searching a subject.
