The initial periods turn out to be the hardest ones.I ain't a cop,but one of my cousin is,he is the ADGP now..
1.You will be ill treated by senior officials,to an extent where you might even consider quitting the job.
2.The criticism will be severe
3.You have to take the un-ethical way at first to climb up the ladder.
U stay in India..??

I think that it's hard for the police to see the degrading state that human people reach, I think that would be the hardest if I was a police officer.

I agree Pen. I don't know how I could be able to cope on a daily basis seeing and interacting with so many people who are in a bad state of affairs. It would get to me. Having worked in a clinical environment, I would be taken by all the ill patients. You have to develop a callous and that often offends the patients because they really respond to warm hearted person. It really jerked at my heartstrings to treat patients who has alzheimer's. Their spouses would be so dedicated to taking care of them but the patients themselves would be in a different planet. I can't imagine losing my husband's mind.
