A Florida woman was arrested after police say she stabbed her boyfriend because he threatened to hurt her pet turtle.
Marie Seymour, 53, from Palm Beach County was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
When police responded to a disturbance at a Lake Park home they found the man who had been allegedly stabbed by the woman.
According to authorities the incident unfolded while the couple were drinking. The woman claims she pulled out a knife and stabbed the boyfriend after he threatened to hurt the turtle.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries. Police did not release any information on where the boyfriend was stabbed.
The victim told police he didn’t want Seymour arrested, however Seymour was taken to the Palm Beach County Jail and was later released on $3,000 bond.

Y'all bugging out on that? LOL! What about her man who don't even want her arrested? And is probably the one who put up the bail money. LOL! Leave them two alone. They're in love.

The turtle ain't got nothing to do with it.

Yeah lol, they belong together, but I feel that the turtle might be safe in another location. :)

Hahahahaha :D. Agreed. The turtle would definitely be safer in another location. In fact, my cousin had a pet turtle when we were little kids, and her mom and dad got drunk, started fighting, and dad knocked mom down and she fell on the turtle and it died.
