Yahoo stopped allowing comments on stories posted on yahoo.com. There is large speculation going around that most posts were trending in favor of Donald Trump and that many comments may be used in preparation for debates between Donald Trump and Joe Biden. There is no question that yahoo and its parent company verizon lean hard towards left leaning ideas and would love to see Trump fail in November. But it seems like allot of their viewers are actually in favor of what Trump stands for and is trying to do. At any rate, it is a huge part of the appeal to yahoo visitors. I would guess without the comment sections a large portion of their visitors will go elsewhere to complain. It will be interesting to see how long verizon/yahoo can hold out before their advertisers start to pull dollars away.
